Directions There is no street address for Hemlocks Natural Area. From Blain, PA take PA State Route 274 west for approximately 10 miles to Big Spring State Park. Just past the park entrance turn left (east) onto Hemlock Rd; a gravel state forest road. Travel 3 4 miles on Hemlock Rd, passing the Hickory Ridge Overlook along the way. There are two trailheads for the Hemlocks Natural Area, one at each end of the ravine.
